A very informal performance of David Rakowski's 87th piano étude, a five-finger étude, played in the composer's dining room on toy piano, by Geoffrey Burleson, and recorded on a Flip Video Ultra. The toy piano being played is a very old Jaymar purchased at a flea market more than fifteen years ago. The piece may be played on piano, on toy piano, or on both. The piece is dedicated to Rick Moody and Amy Osborn on the occasion of an expected new arrival; "berceuse" is a word meaning lullaby. Rakowski's piano études are copyright © by CF Peters.

Special guest appearance by the composer's cat Sunny.
