I was stood in the VIP stand (next to the guy filming this clip)... It was crazy, but didn't realise the true extent of the damage until we went to the VIP lounge which had blown into backstage, the noise from the main stage was truely terrifiying, but we went back to BeniCamp and were pretty lucky our tent hadn't blown away. Can look back and laugh about it, but at the time I was pretty worried. It's not a competition of who's had the worse festival weather! S**t happens. Deal with it.

what a muppet, you have no idea, Anonrymal, this was some serious tuff, high winds, tv screens in the bars flying off the walls, a dust storm then as everyone left the mian stage the entire site had a power cut. Like podds says, worst weather at a festival I have seen.

I taut it was over the top at first since even the tom tom club played but the gusts of wind were emmence, the lights were shaking all over the place...and I nearly got hit over the head with a two metre long iron pole which fell from one of the food tents. stayed on the concert site tho till kicked off tho. 2 many djs/franz/maximo made up for tho next nite

How can you comment if you weren't there, been to a loads of festivals with wind and rain and the friday nite in benicassim was the worst weather i've seen, tents flying around the campsite like tumble weeds.
