Scottish reel plenty useful for the step clog dancing. I learned this variant from Dan Quinn one Saturday afternoon in a nice Nissen Hut sort of behind Waitrose in Godalming, Surrey, England. What the event was now I have no idea, but I think local folk impressario Lawrence heath was involved somewhere along the line. It has more than a passing resemblance to the Jeanie Robertson song "The Wind Blew The Bonnie Lassie's Plaidie Awa'", which I used to think it was about a girl losing her plaidie, but that was the innocence of youth. I now realise it is more akin to "She Had to Go and Lose It At The Aster" in reverse.
