MTH-MTK Mick Bolton - Rainbow Over Michigan

(www.mickbolton.com) MEET THE KEYBOARDS was presented by ex-MOTT THE HOOPLE keyboard men Morgan Fisher, Mick Bolton and Blue Weaver with special guest John Fiddler (of Medicine Head), to coincide with Mott The Hooples reunion concerts in London in October 2009. Morgan showed his film Mott In America 1974. We shared memories and anecdotes from our time with various bands and then answered questions from the audience. We each did a brief solo set and then performed together in various combinations. Morgan Fisher was our wonderful master-of-ceremonies and he can be seen at the start of this clip flinging copies of his 'Moth Poet Hotel' CD to members of the audience. Then I perform my own song Rainbow Over Michigan, written in 1974 after touring with Mott. Here are the lyrics...
