You still have to repent your sins even if you have been saved in the blood of Christ... KVJ and the NIV is basicly the same thing. Just because you say Hey Jesus Forgive for them sins I did... that doesnt mean your on the good ship and dont need to ask or work for a life in the heavens

Hi..good question and an important one. Yes that person is saved through faith given by the Holy Spirit. Baptism then should follow as soon as possible for faith and baptism go together..and then of course such a person may also partake of the Lord's Supper. Pastor Lassman

Did you read the NIV..how do you know if words have been taken away or not? Read the account of Joseph and the angel in the NIV and you will see it says that same thing...
