The Luther Vandross Original Band Tribute at B.B. Kings/LA

The L. Vandross 'Orginal Band' performed a tribute to him at B.B. King's in LA. The band members are Musical Director Nat Adderly, Jr. (Keys), John "Skip" Anderson (Aux. Keys), Doc Powell (Guitar), Byron Miller (Bass), Steve Kroon (Percussion), Ivan Hampden (Drums) and Paulette McWilliams (Background Vocals. Mr. Tom Scott performed as a special guest. Harley Griffin performed lead vocals for "Superstar","Stop to Love" and "A House Is Not A Home". The event was hosted by Comedian Tommy Davidson. Samson and Hartke sponsored this event.

Where were you when these other so called artist were destroying the essence of Luther's legacy? I am so glad to have discovered. It just was too short.

Pls understand that Im taking nothing away from Harley..he's magnificent..(& nice to look at too),,Greg's audio & video seems to be of poor quality..He should work on that going fwd..Greg has been doing this long before Luther's passing & appears to have really polished that Luther aura..(Im just sayin)..lol

We just saw Harley perform at Sambuca in Atlanta and it was Unbelievable! If you haven't seen him live you Must! It would be great to see him with Luther's band and backup singes together. That would be scary.
