Hello everyone, this week we have a special video for you. Last year we aired a television show called "Thundermist Fishing Tips", it aired on the Sportsman Channel from coast to coast within the USA as many of you have seen.

Today what we'd like to show you is an episode of the TV show which did not make it to the airwaves. But don't worry, we cut out the commercials for you.

This footage has been unseen until today.

We hope you enjoy this episode, and we apologize for the noisy background.

Until next time, good fishing!

  • Are you ever going to fish in acton or boston massuchuetts?

  • @hxy00 Most Likely we'll be down to Cape Cod thsi year, but not sure about Boston. There is plenty of great fishing though in Cape Cod & Buzzards Bay as well.

Thanks for writing in and good luck on the water!

  • How far were you casting out? I would like to Euro Style fish, down there. Cheers, great video!

  • @FishingwithKT We have caught carp casting out on average of about 50 feet. Give it a try! Thanks & good luck!

  • @thundermistlures Were u using a circle hook? If so what are the advantages

  • @MrPorkGuy Can't recall if we used circle hooks in this episode, but we have used circle hooks for carp and they do work we'll. The advantage would be that you don't really need to set the hook. Once the carp picks up your bait, and starts to run, you have a better chance for a good hook up.

Thanks for writing in and good luck on the water!

  • @thundermistlures no wonder why i keep losing carp thanks alot!!!

  • @sam58810976 Thanks for tuning in to our video and also for taking time to write to us with your handling methods.

  • You guys seem to be a lot rougher with the handling of carp in comparison to how there handled in the UK! We use large landing nets and unhooking mats. You should also hold carp upright in the water when releasing until they regain momentum!

  • @OwnageProductions69 The carp meat is quite tasty once the fish is bled & the dark muscle meat is removed. The problem is that carp are full of bones. Thanks!
