The Igels (Germany's only Eagles tribute band) perform "Hotel California" @ "Summertime", Eschborn, Germany.

"Hotel California", sung by Don Henley, was written by Don Felder, Don Henley and Glenn Frey under the working title "Mexican Reggae" and appeared on the 1976 Eagles hit album "Hotel California". The song, produced by Bill Szymczyk at Criteria Studios, Miami, and the Record Plant West, Los Angeles, was released as the second single off the album and became a #1 US hit and a Classic Rock staple.

Rolling Stone Magazine ranked it #49 of the greatest songs of all time. The guitar soli of Felder and Walsh are ranked #8 of Guitar Magazine's Top 100 Guitar Solos.

It was covered by Gipsy Kings, Cat Empire, Max Romeo, Alabama 3, Eläkeläiset, Jürgen Drews, Wiglaf Droste a.o.

This group was really good,everybody in the band work together very nice.The singer was exelent and the guitarist was amazing,just one thing the set up of the sound system still a little bit crowded.otherwise.Thanks guys you're amazing.PS.I give you 5 *****

Hallo, ich bin selbst ein großer Eagles-Fan, eigentlich seit dem ich denken kann, also seit meiner Kindheit :-) Ihr macht das jedenfalls nicht schlecht. Mir gefällt nur nicht wirklich, dass ihr bei Hotel California das Intro vom Original mitlaufen lasst. Es ist zwar einen Halbton runter gepicht, aber ich hab´s gemerkt ;-) Ich denke ihr bekommt das auch so hin. Aber vielleicht spielt ihr´s mittlerweile auch ohne das Originalintro von der Platte?!?
