This is from 1970 at the Firestone tournament of champions, featuring the final 3 shots from Don Johnson, who already had 9 strikes in a row.

Enjoy :)

  • The lady is sad because she's not going to Paris.

  • I Would Be Devastated Bowling 299:( I Would Rather Bowl 298 Instead:)

  • Just a wonderful man. Things like this should be reserved for the obnoxious, self-important jerk-wads like ---enter name--, but not a guy like Don Johnson. His talent was superhuman and his demeanor was typically American, the way Americans used to be. You are missed, Koko.

  • He deserves the 300 for guts on wearing those pants :)

  • When they showed the lady in the yellow, was that Maurice "The Mad Dog" Vachon to the right? Just saying.

  • anyone else think he looks like jim carrey in his getup for "dumb and dumberer"?

  • @gmccord1970 Nowadays, they try to make the game harder with tougher lane conditions. However, some critics argue that they are just making it harder to hit the pocket.

  • Oh riverea lanes. you havent changed a bit. screwing people out of good shots lol

  • rofl keeping pressing 8 or 9.

  • @revolutionman81 Not really. Mark Roth was the one who pretty much revolutionized the game with the hook (in the 1970's), and he didn't hook it nearly as much as modern bowlers do (because he was using plastic and later urethane instead of reactive resin).

If you watch some young Pete Weber matches (in the early 80's), he very rarely hooked it more than 5 boards, and he was one of the biggest hook guys on tour.
