awww when Richard cried i cried :'( i love richard and james!! they are so great in the version of macbeth. FINALLY a great reaction from macduff, all the other movies had him react in a dumb way but i liked how in this version they showed his emotions :)

James McAvoy... Yum.

James McAvoy, Keeley Hawes, and Richard Armitage were a delight to watch in this. Very well done modern interpretation. Thank you so much for posting this in it's entirety.

The moment where James says "I'm immortal" is my the most favorite moment in 'Macbeth'.

Thank you so much for posting this! LOVED this adaption. Keely was the true stand out, I think, although the entire cast is simply marvellous (RA love!! :D)

it's a certainly different ending to the traditional Shakespeare, when Macbeth almost seems joyful about his oncoming death, and accepts it, even encourages Macduff on! It is a very different, yet good ending as it portrays the depth of madness Macbeth has descended to. Brilliant interpretation of Shakespeare, A*.

James McAvoy and Keeley Hawes were AMAZING in this. Macbeth's and Lady Macbeth's respective descents into madness were just so incredibly *raw*, and Macbeth's sudden changes of personality were perfectly portrayed. Amazing, amazing, amazing - the Macbeths were just perfectly cast, in my opinion.
Definitely the best Macbeth adaptation I've seen yet. Thank you so much for uploading it!!
james mcavoy is amazing in this!

Haha, "Pigs will fly!" Nice replacement from till Birnam Wood remove to Dunsinane". that whole bit about Macduff is heart breaking. And the modern application makes me think of how messed up murders must be to have that on their consciences. Shakespeare knew exactly what he was writing about. All of his plays make me feel like he must have had some first hand experience of the things that he wrote about. i'm always in awe of his word. Thank you for sharing!

Hey Daughter, thanks so much for posting, James McAvoy is mesmerizing in everything he does, including the lion, witch and the wardrobe movie.
Have no idea how you are able to post these things, so I'm very grateful!
I really enjoyed Shakespear Retold - Taming of the Shrew, as I read the comedies and all. I will have to go back & read Macbeth to compare stories. I had to read King Lear in college, & it was gloomy.
