  • When you talk about an arch, it is more the movement of the hip than the stepping trajectory, right?

  • @The1o7 Correct

  • if your doing the competition version where your performing it far away, how do you do the kazushi? i hope that made sense. i dont know what the variation of it is called

  • If you're talking about how some players like Yamashita basically do an outside hook; the kuzushi is straight down as lf you're trying to pin uke's feet to the mat. I have been thrown by his osoto gari and that is kuzushi of the throw. It's very difficult and you need to be both strong and quick to accomplish this type of osoto gari. The chances of getting countered are much greater. There is only one Yamashita and trying to copy him is usually a big mistake for most judoka.

  • Wow, seem so pro

  • @plato2014 There are several entries for oo soto gari. I learn it three different ways. The one that gives me the best results is when my oponent walks into me right as we get our grips, I pull him into me and slightly up. DOing thhis motion puts them on their toes, which gives me an opportunity to enter, lock their spine by bending themn slightly backwards and putting all of their weight on thefoot closest to mine.It is shocking how powerfull the throw is

  • @ptnippon Thank you so much.

  • LOL As they were talking about diarrhea the student said "that explains your Judo".

  • This was my favorite technique but is very hard to make it work, well said, imitating Yamashita is usually a big mistake haha.

  • The best way I tell it alot my friend is on Kazushi explain it is like driving a car and all the same move and steps. Very good my Brother

  • The best instructional video on youtube period.

  • this is one of my favourite. Thanks a lot for the video
