The Gavotte from Abroise's opera, Mignon, is played and sung for the 100th Anniversary Concert of the only organ in Charlotte's history to attain the age of 100 years in its original home: II/11 M P Möller, Opus 1046 (1910) at Chalmers Memorial ARP Meeting House, now owned by Grace Covenant Church. The organist played a transcription by W J Westbrook as found in "The Organ Player" by Preston Ware Orem (1904). This piece was part of the dedication program from June 13, 1910.

John Apple is AGO chapter historian and organist at Epworth United Methodist Church, Concord, NC.
