WACO 2008 Homecoming Parade

WACO school from Wayland, Crawfordsville, and Olds area in Iowa prepared for the high school football homecoming game by celebrating with a parade on Sept 19, 2008. (Today) The elementary band rode on a float, and the junior high band marched. The football players rode in the back of fire trucks. There were many wonderful floats. Fire trucks, antique cars, convertibles, law enforcement vehicles, and ambulances participated in the parade. Students riding on the floats threw candy for the viewing children to gather and eat.
WACO played a terrific game against a great team from a different division.

Oh yes, it is such a wonderful town. The children are really well behaved, the mothers look out for each others' children, and women can jog and ride their bikes without fear.

When I had cancer, I didn't have to cook for a long time, because neighbors and church members brought food.
