This song gives me chills even after hearing it 1,000,000+ times. The lyrics are so powerful - equally as powerful as the music. Damn I love Floyd.

One of my friends sang this at our other friend's funeral. That was the first time I ever listined to this song all the way through and now it's one of my favorite's just like it was one of my friend's. We'll always miss you Alan Hess. Rest In Peace.

Wow. I'm glad that I am not like most of the people in my generation. I'm 14 and this is just amazing, there is a meaning behind the music. While most of the music today is just horrible.

Miss you Susan!

@AutoShopVideos This song was BEFORE The Wall.
-
I thought the line went: "For a walk on part in the Wall, or a lead roll in a cage", as in; the opportunity to have a walk-on part in their movie "The Wall" instead of a lead role in a play like "La Cage Aux Folles". How do you have a "walk-on part in a war"? Maybe I'm wrong? And by the way... the 12 people that disliked this are brain dead!

man i hate it when people dislike such a beautiful thing.
