I always thought the King G and Ned L had a little more jump in their tunes in comparison to Don Messier.

King was one of the greats I wish there were a few more recordings hard to find , it would be great if some one would do an enhancement of Kings great tunes. Love his style

I heard that he was born in Swift Current Saskatchewan

Used to listen to him on CKRC up here in good old Winnipeg. He was in the same era as Don Messer and Ned Landry, but I liked the King better.
