ahh kool yu guys have a Navajo dance too? Yeh me coming from the Hopi side hah we have one too...dunno y navajos think its bad and get mad...I mean long time ago they always raided our ancestors and now lots of em are trying to copy us pueblos with our dances...dunno where its comin from but i need to check this out on your side...pretty bad ass!...

Wow!!?! Can't some of you people just appreciate this dance...its in honor of the navajo people from us pueblo people...Everything we do has a meaning behind it...they didn't do this dance just to do it ...and FYI it wasn't a stolen dance! But thanks for everyone who understands that this dance is to honor the navajo people..not to make fun of them ...well enjoy this video youtube-ers

I appreciate the honor- i'm navajo. i am in nursing school, we are learning about cultural diversity in medicine. I was always was fascinated by the pueblo culture- i have friends that are hopi whom are awesome. but i always have questions about the pueblo culture and find it fascinating! this was a wonderful dance! thanks guys! and i agree some navajos are crazy!! lolz i can be!!! lolz

This wasnt a dance taken from the Navajo's it was to honor them ... Not like their dancin POW WOW. Dont appreciate the Honor?

Geez why does every video that has pueblo dancing like navajos have bunch of bs? It's been said already that these dances are ment to honor the Navajos. I remember one story that the Navajo came to Hopi in a time of need (drought). The Hopi chief asked the Navajo to have the yei bi cheii dance. So they brought them to Hopi and danced four times. From then on the rains came. So your power of the yei's were shown. So that's why they sing and dance Navajos. There's always been a good relationship

I like the dance. Its to honor Navajo people. Some pueblos got along with Navajos so they celebrated like this. There are many different types of indians out there, aswell as many types of Navajos. So if you dont know the meaning and purpose of those so called copied dances, then you dnt know what ur talking about, and yur family were not taught or payd attention among learning the Dances. Long time ago Navajos participated in some Pueblo feasts by bringing food and give-aways. Live-Learn-Deal!

Just was taught from both sides and on my navajo side from when i was young to now i never saw the dances they're doin nowadays...my cheii agrees 2 so it aint justme! And besides that theres nothin buhh Navajos raidin pueblos even in history books so it aint just a sob story its the TRUTH!!! And yes Navajos are the biggest buhh cultural wise aint nun...

@jal2132799 Besides OUR ceremonies work for US because we are the largest tribe, largest land-base, and the RICHEST.....go tell your sob story somewhere else that we copy you guys....and stop pretending that the poor pueblos are the victims here....sheesh....sick of it!
