This was a test I conducted for a member of the ubuntu forums wanting to know how to setup his 3 LCD's. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=6117453#post6117453

Just a tech demo - Will post a more advanced demo soon.

  • must be a powerfull machine to run compiz fusion with 3 monitors. :o, very nice vid man, thanks.

  • Check out our other vid's which show all 6 monitors - this was just a demo to help out a guy who had 3. The system runs 6 normally.

  • Interesting choice in music for this video. I like it. :)

  • Hey man, do you know of a way to do this in Ubuntu 10.04? I've got a triple monitor setup and I'm desperately trying to get compiz/compositioning working with all 3 monitors, with no luck so far. I'm using two Nvidia video cards, I tried using bits of the xorg.conf file you posted in the forum thread but I couldn't get far with it :/. If you could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

  • is this on a single graphics card? which one(s)? which card would you buy now to support three 24" displays (on arch or fedora, not that it should matter i think)?

  • Awesome!!. Please, somebody tell me how I can do this with 2 monitors?

  • Thx :)
