New Message to Anonymous

Hello Scientology. Hello Anonymous.

It has been almost a year since thousands of people first took to the streets around the world to protest the criminal organization known as the Church of Scientology. We came from all walks of life, united by a desire to effectively destroy this enterprise that continues to hurt its members, force family alienation and suppress its critics.

We organized on the internet, we worked together with people we had never met and we courageously stood up to an international juggernaut.

And it was glorious.

At first they dismissed us. Then they tried to defame us and silence us with gang-style intimidation and legal nonsense. Then they tried to infiltrate us and drive a wedge in our united efforts. There were substantial casualties. A lot of great men and women were lost from our cause, but they were never forgotten. Through all of this, the dedicated carried on and won many victories.

Despite the damage we have dealt in twelve months, the Church of Scientology continues to plague society and the internet. They have tried to use the death of Jett Travolta as a recruitment campaign. They sent the mouth of Scientology, Tommy Davis, to all of the major networks to talk about what Scientology can do for you spiritually instead of what Scientology couldn't do for Jett or the countless others that die after being taken off of life-saving medications. Tommy Davis has repeatedly lied on national television about Scientology's well-known stance on so-called mind-altering medications.

The Church of Scientology has also continued to suppress the dissemination of information on the internet, shutting down multiple Youtube accounts critical of the Church through baseless legal scare tactics. They have begun to utilize the tactic of filing false complaints with the FBI in order to discover the names of some of their biggest "Anonymous" critics. They continue to attempt to police our domain, the internet, for their corporate gain. The same issues that brought many of you out to the streets on February 10th are still going on today; the difference now is that millions of people have been informed about the crimes of the Church.

You were driven to protest by an idea. An idea that in this day and age of technological enlightenment and evolved society, that nobody should have to endure pain and suffering in any form for the benefit of another, especially an international corporate scam such as Scientology. And by an idea that together, as a proverbial "hive mind", we can accomplish anything and protect ourselves with our anonymity. We are ahead of our time and we are everything that is relevant and righteous. We came together on February 10th, not as a group of online miscreants and outcasts, but as real human beings united for a fantastic cause. This cause is still relevant and there are still people that need your help and there are many lulz still to be had.

It is a year later. Where are you now, Anonymous? Let us put aside our differences, let us forget the problems of the past and let us not give in to the fear tactics of this ridiculous organization. Let us for one day come together in solidarity to celebrate what we have accomplished together in the past and give the Church a demonstration it will never forget. We have grown, we have evolved, some of us have said we have given up forever, but we will always be part of something great. Let us show David Miscavige, Tommy Davis and the OSA that we may disappear, but we will never go away. Let us come together on February 14th, the day of love, in front of Scientology orgs and missions around the world one more time for what will no longer be known as the day of love, but the Day of Lulz.
