The term islamofobia is used to suprese critique on islam. Hopper can come up with examples of reactions from websites saying horrible things about muslims which can not be accepted but that doesn't mean that the term isn't used to supress genuine critique. Here in Europe, the left progressives try it all the time by saying that critique of islam offends muslims as a persons too. Well so fucking what? Islam offends me personally too but you hardly ever hear them saying islam should back off.
