I remember when i used to go see them with my mom before they all separated when I visited Ghana... to any of yall in Ghana, my mom has a talk show which airs on GTV every Saturday at 1 Ghana afternoon time... it's "Mama Lee Talk Show" check it out

Each time I sit down and listen to Highlife I just want to burst into tears even thoo I dont even understand the language.. There's just something about highlife that touches my heart... I cant explain it..

I am ivorian, and there's something about ghanaian music that really fascinates me. My dad had plenty of these records when I was a kid. It seems so poetic; highlife is music at a higher level. It really touches the heart. Thanks to Ghana for inventing this music.
