I find it funny and pitiful how people could be so quick to approve billions of dollars in governent assistant to banks and car companies while they refuse to see the same consideration be made for poor starving children.

No one should live a life on welfare, but screw you if you feel big businesses are more deserving of tax payers' money.

I'm defending single parents and think its important not to stigmatize us as i am one to and have had the best 11 years and campain for them too,being a full time single parent and care for my parents also,more should be done to help women who are single mums as we are unsung heros of the world :O)x

great video :) Single mum of 3 here, single through no fault of my own! My family is a valid one, my children are wonderful human beings. P.S. oomoonbeam my parents have always worked so hardly generations of welfare claimants :) Ill work when my kids are all at school, untill then let me raise them in peace.

@VictrolaJazz Absolutely correct. Unfortunately after 65 years of the welfare state there is such a large population of state dependants and their socialist cohorts that the voice of reason can scarcely be heard against the rabble. There is now no easy way of putting the genie back in the lamp. I am deeply troubled when I see the USA heading towards some of the same mistakes. America could recover if it halted it's descent now, but the current administration seems bent on accelerating it.
