Yukinobu Hoshino's 2001夜物語 (2001 Nights) was a very fine graphic novel; certainly one the best written and most lavish visual work of "hard" sci-fi outside Kubrick-Clarke's seminal 1968 movie. As in Space Odyssey, 2001 Nights has silent sections where the rich pictures tell the story.

This thing "To" on the other hand looks and sounds like a tacky videogame cutscene with the voice work level of a cheap samurai TV drama. But then Elliptical Orbit was perhaps one of the less good Nights...
