Mary Ingold was honored as a Participant of the Year at the Power of Work - a benefit for tomorrow's workforce and a celebration of stronger communtites.
Mary was new to Minnesota and having an Autism spectrum disorder she had trouble finding work. Although she studied illustration it was more of a hobby than a profession. Goodwill/Easter Seals Minnesota helped Mary with employment training programs, and encouraged her passion for art and photography. Today Mary is employed as a photographer at a local mall. She's more independent, self-sufficient and most importantly confident about her new career path.
