@JoeDurobot Thats the beauty of the SSAR-15 its not a mechanical trigger device requiring an AFT & $200 stamp. Along with the stock comes a letter from the AFT that states its fully legal.

@excxflyr Yes I did try it with .22LR but the ammo does not have enough recoil.

However I am told it works with 9mm uppers.

Love the walkthrough and all the info about this stock. I'm currently building an AR-15. I completed the lower reciever which is a Surplus Arms Lower with a DPMS Lower Reciever Parts Kit and now saving my next paycheck for the upper. But you did forget to tell the people that not only is there a spring for the safety switch but there is also a detent that can easily fall out if the spring falls out so be careful when taking it out cause it can be a pain to find if you drop it.

Might be a good investment to own one to sell later in case they do in fact get banned. Or just to have because they are fun and cool haha if you can afford all the ammo you'll dump!
