  • Wow, dodged the marijuana question as if it were going to hurt him.

  • @mrkirb The congress is controlled by democrats, since 2006, and will have control of congress until January of 2011.

  • @Billshut100 That's an extremely self-serving interpretation. Will you now attribute any economic problems to the Republican congress instead of blaming Obama?

Your argument doesn't make sense anyway. The massive deregulation of the financial sector which sowed the seeds of the financial crisis flow from Republican anti-government ideology.. The Democrats haven't "destroyed", they've actually cut taxes, not raised them, and their healthcare bill will cut spending in the long term.

  • For instance, look at the chart Austan has behind him,. He's dispalying job loss before and after Obama.

But in reality the Congress must approve all spending , economic measures, and regulation.

So the chart really shows the losses started when the Democrats took control of congress after winning in 2006.

  • Austin Goolsbee is on of the dumbest economic "advisors" to have ever graced the halls of the Whitehouse

He again and again confused the simplest things. For example he doesn't get that the good economic years under Clinton were the 6 with a Republican controlled congress, that kept Reaganomics alive and working , the first good economic years of Bush's term was also with a Republican congress controlling the spending and keeping taxes low.for all. Then the Democrats took control and destroyed.

What is your view point about future airline service to fly to space?

Commercial space flying will creat many jobs in research and development (R&D) sector, and they will create more jobs just like today aviation industry.

  • @applesweeter

Some companies are moving manufacturing back to US because wage increases overseas have made manufacturing more expensive. As places like China grow wealthier and demand higher pay, outsourcing cheap manufacturing there makes less sense.

  • Yes, companies needs to move some of the manufacturing works back to USA. Making products cheaply does not mean that quality is up-to-standard. Besides, the workers at oversea do not put as much effort on creativity and continuous improvement as those in USA. Oversea workers work hard but not smart.

    What will be your opinion?

  • @SuperSuzy09 The President should not be able to affect the federal reserve. He's not commenting because he doesn't want to give the illusion that he can affect the federal reserve.

  • ENDtheFED2012 says "Imagine Peter Schiff and Stuart Varney locked in a room with this guy (Goolsbee) and no outside communications for a full day? When they opened the door ....Goolsbee would be curled up in a fetal position lying in a puddle of his own piss, crying for his MIT Economics Professor, mumbling something to the effeect of "They did'nt say anything about these guys like this in economics class"! ...ENDtheFED= that meeting would be a PayForView moment the entire nation LOVE TO SEE
