This is a short fan film I ran across a few years back and since I can't seem to find it anymore on the web and as a big Iain M. Banks Culture Novel fan I thought I would post it here so others can enjoy it.

So terrible to hear about Banks' health but what a wonderful series of books he has given to us in the Culture series.

I love your short, will there come a time where you would want to expand upon what you have already done here?

Seriously. That is an AWESOME short. Banks is one of my favourite writers, I would almost say IS my favourite writer, and re-read his books quite regularly. The drone was more round than Banks' description "like a small suitcase" more boxy and boring looking, but still looked great.

I always think that Banks work is so amazing it just couldn't be filmed, but this was just great... Well Done.
