  • I just want to know why everyone acts like music and drugs have to go together? IMO, if you sit here and actually listen, instead of thinking "oh this would be better on drugs" you might find that this is very trippy without them.

Fuck I've done every drug under the sun, and now that I'm sober I can hear music again. When you're tripping everything sounds good, so try it sober guys, guarantee it's possible to enjoy.. unless you really don't like it, then listen to something else.

  • If I wasn't in SF that week to see that, I would have been on a plane giving birth. It looks amazing.

  • "I don't do drugs, I am drugs"

    -Dali

my mind is fucked up enough that this just hits the spot with everything in life, mind, emptiness, happiness, despair, and everything else under the fucking sun.

  • @ZuuLSpAcEmAn Exactly. Good music is good always, whether you're tripping balls or having a coffee. That said, certain drugs and certain music go together like Adam and Eve under the Tree of Knowledge. Yum, mushrooms.

  • @circycle Yeah on the surface Nurse with Wound may seem like he makes a lot of uncomfortable, scary music but a lot of it is just more dark. I like a lot of his dark ambient/ minimal organic sound pieces like you would find on Soliloquy For Lillith and some tracks on The Musty Odor of Pierced Rectums. I feel at home with them in a way.

  • @seancaseyVEVO He isn't saying they don't, he is just saying you don't need them to feel the full power of this music. But let's stop lying to ourselves, we live to be high. Everything you do can be traced to finding some kind of intense, mind altering pleasure in the long run. No matter what your favorite poison is, I think anyone who isn't blind can agree that nobody likes to be sober.

  • drugs rule, fuck you spaceman

  • Three friends and I drove to this show via LA. I expected it to be somewhat unnerving, but the enveloping sound was oceanic and the tuning forks were hypnotic. I sat close to the stage within some triangle of space, and I passed out at one point. I was enthralled to see Stapleton in the flesh. He signed my poster. The trip was actually a crazy guys' weekend. Today I listened to Homotopy to Marie in bed, and my jaw clenched and my arms tightened. I thought I was going to die. Such power.

  • @antonbukowski Do you need an official permission or what?

  • @odaxelagniaproject

"We have a mascot. She is a vampire girl called Kyuu-chan…"

  • @antonbukowski if you can't stand it, do yourself a favor and kill yourself.

  • @antonbukowski For fucks sake mate

People said the same thing about Stravinsky, about Ornette Coleman, about every unconventional artist or musical development since the big bang. Your dad probably said it about the fucking Beatles - or if he didn't, plenty of other people did.

Do you also go to art museums and stand in front of Rothko's paintings saying "my 2-yr-old could do better than this"?
