One thing they forgot to talk about and this is the reason I'm siding with Dateline NBC

Despite being a messy operation, running the sting operation shows evidence of the intent that the "pedophiles" have of having sex with someone who they think is underage.

Many people claim entrapment, but the pedophiles make the decision to begin the chat and come over to the house.

Okay, the carelss nature and the entertainment aspect was out of control. Should that discount the fact these were terrible people open to defiling minors. It says that this was a sting over several weeks. The police did not follow protocol and that is the failure, but the evidence is there black and white.

Is one less pedophile on this earth realy a bad thing?

no, it should not discount the fact. however, that's the problem: it's an entertainment show giving us the facts with a couple lines of internet text. that's not fair, either. and let's be honest, i'd say anything too if some creepy, cold-talking suit popped out of nowhere and started asking me questions without even identifying himself. i'd say anything just to get the hell out of there. i don't think police should allow this.

having them on the tv like that in a way convicts them before they have their day in court since the publicity punishes them, shouldnt be allowed since society will pre-judge them and act on those pre-judgements.. all pedo cases should be private until a conviction is made.

@alphas6six

No, not really. I'd want to beat the crap out of him or her but I wouldn't want him dead.

But no I would not be so ignorant and insensitive to wish him, his family, and everyone else in the world painful diseases or death.

I think nobody should be shown on tv when they commit a crime, In France where I live, it's absolutely against the law to film anybody with out permission.

A lot of Republicans and Christian conservatives are big time pedophiles, they can't fight against there own demons so they go out and preach against it, those are ones you have to watch.
