umm no... forward to 4:30 min in this video. You say, I quote "one thousand and twenty four bytes is a mega byte, one thousand and twenty four mega bytes is a giga byte."
You got the second part right, not the first. LISTEN TO YOUR OWN VIDEO!!!
I can catch this stuff since I'm an embedded software engineer!

@cfr0204 So I did, nobodies perfect. Nice catch, I missed it even after you pointed it out... but I've seen this video plenty. Anyway it's a pretty minor mistake really, most people know that much already.

@cfr0204 he made a mistake, so what? everybody makes mistakes.

@nepalihercules He was right, I even contested it falsely, although your comment is greatly appreciated understand that people who really deserved backlash have already been taken care of (deleted and banned). I am a HUGE advocate of freespeech, even the retarded upchuck kind, but I have boundries, I do not and will not allow anyone to argue without good cause on my educational videos. This is because free speech of the ignorant kind has no place here, defense appreciated but unecessary.

i bet the guy who designed this system was hungry Bits And Nibbles
winnerdude250 1 year ago
@winnerdude250 Well I think they were working off the idea that computers process memory a bit like your digestive track processes food, that is in semi-random CHUNKS... and we all know chunks relate to food, also the only thing nerdy types tend to have laying around for inspiration is a cup of java and maybe a donut or cookie, and yes they probably were hungry, most nerds are skinny and hungry because they're workaholics.
