yea it gets expensive, not much you can do about the radio though, but you can always o to mikeys rc and build a "3d" foam core airplain, I built a spitfire from the plans he offers for free,
the airplain cost me a total of $8.50 to build, less the motor, radio and battery.
But when you think how much it will cost to replace parts after a crash it will practicaly be nothing because I had plenty of foam core left over I got two 22 x 19 '" pices for $3

its hard with landing gears on grass, I have the parkzone spitfire and it lands perfect on grass. If you get a chance check out ctaves.

Maybe because the grass too..
this is funny people spending lots of money and then they crash it. i would go for a cheaper one then go for an expensive one.

Yeh i agree, but i made this for a major school project.
I learnt on an S&B Komet.
I would usually land fine, but i think i was a bit nervous.

This was my first plane, which probably wasn't the best idea, but i learnt on a S&B Komet, which is an excellent plane.
I have retired the Spitfire, and put all the electronics into a Komet that i got for free.
