Love this info about Reynold Girls. I actually played the 12inch a lot back in the 80s. But as said in the video, it never hit much in the radio. But I still like the record.

Sorry it was itunes - not youtube the mixes are on, you can get the from jack to a king mix and tony's jam and original king mix (this is Australian Itunes though but I assume you can get it UK itunes too). Long live the Reynolds Girls!

Ha they really had no charisma when interviewed live in person did they ? Presenter asks a question: girl looks like a shy four year old and kinda mumbles something while doing weird arm dancing. Hahahaha. I actually love thier song though, I just found some new mixes of it on youtube! Woo hoo!

What is this balls that DJs at the time weren't playing modern records?
I was there and all of that Kylie, Jason, Rick, Yazz, Stock/Aitken/Waterman crap was never OFF the radio!

The absolute best line in this is what that fan says at 2:45. "These DJs, they tend to like Paul Weller, Morrissey & that sort of thing. And at the end of the day they know Paul Weller could never write a song as good as "I'd rather jack"." It was it this point i fell off my chair, tears rolling down my cheeks & urine sloshing in my pants!
