i'm talking about the actual damage, of which there's been trillions of dollars of. you know they haven't had garbage collection in baghdad since 2003? no schools. no power 90% of the time. every house with its own kerosene generator. bombed out roads. what did these people ever do to deserve this?

How did this get turned into "if immigration" is a good or bad thing? We were talking about "expenses", remember? Go look the stats up for immigration, and criminals. It's very surprising, plus how many more deaths result because of the two. WAY more. Plus I know people from Europe that can't get into USA. Why can't we let millions of Chinese or African people here too? Are they not as ambitious in life, or is it because they simply can not just walk over our border?

see here's the problem you face: lack of perspective. immigration to the united states has been legal since our inception, pretty much. millions come htere to find the american dream. these are the most ambitions people in each of their own little countries. the ones with 'get up and do it' attitude that infuses america with fresh ambition each generation. in the 80's and 90's though republicans passed laws making former legals illegal. they are xenophobic. now they give good people a bad name.

we do not even come CLOSE to spending the billion a day we spend in iraq, stealing their oil and killing their people, then we do on just about anything else, except the military budget itself. please tell me how where somebody is born turns them into a criminal? and why do you lob criminals and immigrants together when what makes this nation so awesome is that its comprised of amazing immigrants, each with their own amazing story to add to the american story? eat interesting foreign food 2nite.

so it would be okay with you if the american oil companies were made to leave even though bush just gave them all no-bid contracts to take all of iraqs oil without paying them for it, completely against their wishes?
