  • Im proud to be bajan

  • @timconn1981 Very easy. Barbados is not a desert island like in Aruba. The only thing you'll have a tough time growing in Barbados is anything that needs acidic rainforest-like soils. This is due to the limestone coral that makes up Barbados' soil. It is more on the alkaline side. For example to grow pineapple you'll have to keep treating the plant for it to grow.

  • easier than jamaica

  • Is it easy to get "greenery" there like it is in Jamaica?

  • BARBADOS!

  • what and where is this place? can someone please send me a message so i can figure this out?

  • hilton garden inn

  • When you get there pick up book called "Barbados in a Nutshell" aswell as The Holiday guide, both will have loads of ideas and maps. Oistins on a Friday night is fun, as is St Lawrence Gap (any night) All beaches are good Mullins Beach more so. Food anywhere is good but check out Pugs by the airport, just ask somebody!! or for extra special try The Cliff (expensive but so worth it - check it out on the web)

    Hope this helps, enjoy!!!!

  • Totally beautiful place, can't wait to go back again!!

  • im going on the 23rd june for 2-3 weeks, any suggestions on places to visit???
