I was a teenage anarchist is about growing up, being disillusioned with the indulgence, isolation, persecution , and vanity of the punk scene. "They turn's their rifle sights on me". The punk scene will scold you into the dirt if you're "not punk enough". That's why they say punk is dead. It's not punk anymore.

Bands come to this conclusion sooner or later, weather pop, like Greenday "good riddence", or Street, like The Unseen.
