you might have more success trying it on a higher string. i've never gotten my ebow to work on my bass guitar well.

@mindbodylightsound10 It works fine enough here for demonstration. It works great on large strings, just takes more time to vibrate (for the magnet to move the mass of the heavier strings.
Higher strings also tend to be short and tighter and don't work as well in harmonic mode (fewer partials are excited).
