I created this flame by first simulating a gas in Realflow, then importing the created particles from that simulation into 3dsmax, from where then I created a FumeFX grid for those particles. ( I used a particle source in FumeFX )

So this is the result of combining both Realflow and FumeFX simulations.

  • can you plug realflow particles straight into Fume FX?

  • @jeystonemusic

That's what I did in this case. I simulated the particles in Realflow, then put them into max and used Fumefx for the flames, with the Realflow particles set as a Particle Src.

  • what do you use just particles and attracters and stuff or up pointing gravity or what?tell me

  • @realflow100 I simulated particles in realflow as gas, then just imported those particles into max and used them to be the fumefx fuel source.

  • the spacing value is too high make 0.9 it will take more time to simulate but the quality will be more better

  • It might actually do better to use Krakatoa instead of Realflow; the reason is, RealFlow is a liquid simulator, you get better random reactions with Krakatoa particles. Great work though, might even be better than what I could do right now? LOL!

  • @koolJ okey
