@paintball4life3214 my dad has a 1999 cummins and has hat it straight piped forever and just this year they would not inspect the truck with straights anywhere in town

@NERFlab In texas at least near me they dont check during inspection , my cummins is strait piped. I did hear some shops in texas are now checking but idk

I thought you HAVE to have a catylitic converter on all new vehicles now a days? Or in Texas?

o ya definetly. the truck will breathe so much better. and run 80 percent cooler

No kiddin, those DPFs are a PITA! Drop the DPF, do a full 4 or 5" exhaust with no cat, and MAYBE a muffler. Then an air intake, chip and air/meth injection and your truck will last a long time, drive much better and get better MPG.
