Some of the more artistic and gifted among the staff of Nipher Middle School in Kirkwood, Missouri, took the opportunity to share their love for the delicate and graceful and sensitive and really, very serious art of interpretive dance with their scholars. For weeks, the members of the troupe devoted themselves to strict training, serious rehearsal, torturous mental conditioning, arduous rehearsal, deep, depthy study and more long rehearsal until their craft was honed to a fine, pointy point.
At Nipher's annual Variety Show, annually held each year at the same time of year, the Teachers' Interpretive Dance Ensemble of Teachers unveiled the fruit of their long hours of efforty rehearsal.
In order to stay within the bounds of edification of their scholars, the members of the troupe spent long hours weighing hundreds of different historical events that they felt they could properly, and in good conscience, interpret through movement, dance, expression and spatial differentiation.
Here, then, is the fruition of many dreams.
