@fraroc Perhaps that the reason why students struggle at school, mostly because authoritarian figures like teachers and parents use the wrong methods to motivate a child to learn.
They have to learn that abusive tactics like "Tiger Mom", abusive, or coercion tactics will not work.
They should be using positive reinforcement methods instead of abusive ones.
If these teachers use these tactics on a Special Olympian, I bet you that coach will be shown the door.

Maybe the mother is learning that she can't bully the son into getting better grades.
She has to get to the root of the problem.
When a child is struggling at school, you have to get the root of the problem including psychological testing, parental therapy as their parenting style might be a part of the problem, learning disabilities testing, just to name a few.
If she did this in Special Olympics as a coach, she would be banned from coaching for life.
