Dedicated in rememberance of JFK:

Rattlesnake boots and a cowboy hat cannot protect you
Trusting in the government is like skipping stones

Although we've never met
Somehow i feel our spirits connect

Deceit and lies are at our door

When he gave his last speech that day in Texas,4 hrs before the assasination,he was given rattlesnake boots and a cowboy hat as a gift to 'protect him from his enemies',which I think the guy meant the boots would protect him from rattlesnakes on the ranch,he never put the hat on and said he'd put it on back at the White House on Monday morning!!It's ironic,and twistedly sad,I saw it on the history channel!!

Yeah. You're right. Have you seen the video of this. I swear the guy presenting the boots and hat KNEW JFK was going to be shot. His name was Raymond Barr...I think..........And his words were laden with irony and sarcasm.even hatred for JFK. Check it out. JFK refused to put the boots or hat on.

Excellent! Loved those lyrics. I can still remember hearing the news on the radio of his assassination. I was only 19 and living in Australia, but his death stunned everyone around the world. 5*****
