Originally built around 1990 and flown probably hundreds of times by me, I was forced to rebuild it a couple of years ago when I discovered some critical airframe failures. I repaired the airframe and used new covering, new hardware, new hinges, a new fuel system and tank, new Robart landing gear, new Stan's Fiber Tech cowl, new Lexan windows and a new Spektrum DX7 radio to make it better than new. The OS Gemini 1.20 twin still runs perfectly. It should be good for another 20 years.
How did the Robart gear fitted into the frame? Does it need modifications?

It's perfect! No modification needed. I wish they included some bungee covers though.
It took me 1/2 a day to assemble and paint them.

That was a good work. I renewed my Cessna a year ago. Also problems with aged bonds and oil-weakened wood.
