  • Is it sold? Can we buy the finished product or materials separately to oneself civilian clothes? Does combined with a padded garment that will aid further improve the absorption of the damage?

  • The material is displayed at Millipol Paris last week. Very successful. It has been used in BPVs in USA and the EU as well as SE Asia. Yes you can use it for damage control. Can you send me your email and we can communicate directly.

  • It's a reduction of 50% blunt damage, +4 Enchantment and immunity against Critical Hit.

  • Thanks Hornetpalooza, you are the only one that understood NIJ test conditions shooting through a light screen, heating up the bullet to increase velocity as we did not have a reloading legally at the range....and understanding blunt trauma. Thanks.....for 2 years, we get all sorts of rubbish, after 2 patent grants and it being used by many law enforcement agencies, including 7 states in the US.....you are the only sensible answer......cheers

  • least the bullet bounced off.

  • Thanks John, there is so little energy left that the bullet bounced right off.

We tested with non deforming Steel Jacketed 9mm DM11 bullet, the V50 tests are same as standard fabric for Twaron CT709 but we use 2 layers less.

  • are you guys fucking retarded? the clay is there to measure the impact force of the bullet it has nothing to do with stoping it

the treated cloth infront of the clay is the armor

  • @pyrodownhiller only thing i can think of is to soften the lead but i dunno i haven' t figured that out yet i guess i am going to have to start heating up my rounds before i rob a bank :)

  • The moment i heard a voice i knew it was a fellow singaporean. Where did you guys test this out man ?

  • why are you using modeling clay? Did you read unintended consequences?

  • Can civilians buy this product? (In the U.S.)

  • Would have been _really_ nice to see some slow-motion capture of the force-wave ripple and subsequent blow-back. Some kind of interleave "shingling" armor to spread out force is indicated after the pierce is defeated.

  • I'm not a ballistic expert, but when I asked one an engineer about it, he started to explain about RBT lubes that comes in contact with the metal skin and makes it hardened.

I lost whatever he said during lubes stuff. I guess that's a matter for ammo production dept.

  • question: why are you heating ammo ? just seems a bet dumb

  • LOL weapon "heat gun"

  • So what is the point using a heat gun? are you using it on the rounds or the firearm?

  • You forgot to mention how thick the treatment layers of thickening on the Kevlar are.
