Why is the 2nd play, the fumble on there, when Auburn didn't score as a result of that blown call. I mean yes it was a blown call and shouldn't happen, but guess what, that play didn't affect the outcome of the game, it was still 0-0. Ref gate wasn't as egregious as some of you LSU slappys seem to think it was.

Wow.

Man, do we ever get fucked in the state of Alabama or what?

It's bad enough when you beat yourself, but I'd rather that than let the ref dictate the game.

1st play- definitely a catch, 2nd play- , definitely a fumble, 3rd play- blatent pass interference, 4th play- no way that was holding his hands were never even closed around the jersey of the Auburn player, he just pushed the d-lineman around the field, 5th play- got to go with the first thing they called, blatent pass interference or holding. and Jarmucas's completion rating was actually pretty good. I don't ever remember not feeling confident we could move the ball with the ball in his hands.

You don't know if Doucet would or wouldnt have caught it. He was coming back to the ball, but couldnt. I actually think its def. holding AND def. pass interference.

The DB deflected the pass away, you're going to tell me that Doucet had any chance at catching that pass...please....that's why the call was overturned to begin with.

It doesn't matter if he tipped it or not it matters WHEN he tipped it. If the first foul(interference) is committed BEFORE The tip even takes place then the first foul is supposed to be what is called.

Pass interference can happen before the ball arrives at the situation, but if the ball is deemed UNCATCHABLE (which it was UNCATCHABLE in this instance because the Auburn guy batted it away...doesn't matter when) they pick the flag up. The refs initially called it PI...converged on the situation and then correctly ruled that the ball was uncatchable because even if Doucet was by himself, he would have jumped like that to catch the ball, and the safety STILL bats it away...get it?
