Is that the 2006 model ambulance? I believe they changed the rear lights above the door right?
-
Thought the Police had that label?
-
Nice stop at the red light.
-
Why does it say "ON STRIKE" above the rear doors? STAY SAFE!

I guess your community doesn't deserve full time paramedic coverage.. Only 4 days a week 10 hours a day with one full time member. I miss working kilo..We need to get rid of the "Fox" shift. If they (BCAS) want a 90 second responding Ambulance.. It should be Full time medics..Period!

We have a spit Echo, Mon-Thurs, Fri-Sun are Fox, Fox nights and Kilo 24/7

Naw, it was the usual echo 4 guys doin' this call. I had a quick chat from across the street with them after they stopped.

Was that a private company ambulance?

No, it's one of a fleet of about four hundred and fifty ambulances that are owned by the Britsh Columbia Ambulance Service. It's operated by the Provincial Government. It's employees are unionized members. Our Union is called "The Ambulance Paramedics of Britiosh Columbia". Cupe local 873.
I hope this sheds some light on our service?

if someone wants to bye a bc ambulance and its for sale do they come with lights sirens stripes and the words on them

They used to come with the red stripe still on it. Now our Fleet dept takes some white paint and paints out the red stripe. Most of the lights stay on.. But, it does seem to change from time to time.
