David Spark here reporting for Tripwire at the 2010 RSA Conference in San Francisco.

In conversation with Dan Schoenbaum, COO of Tripwire, we discussed the common problem of people trying to understand the volume of data they're trying to manage. Since it takes so long for most enterprises to sift through their data, it's not uncommon for people to not find out about a breach, such as the costly Heartland Data Breach, which compromised more than 650 financial institutions, after a few days, months, or years after they happen.

Schoenbaum explained that with Tripwire, their customers are getting greater insight into their data, allowing them to find data breaches much faster.
