Crysis won't look like crap. It's just other games will look like movie CGI, so Crysis will look dated in comparison. Nothing changes about the game. It's only your perception of it.

Quake is the game that started all the actual 3D based games that we see today that replaced sprite based games. Also did you know that Half Life uses the same engine as Quake 1?

Quake engine was used by Quake 1 and Hexen 2, id Tech 2 was used by Quake 2 and Heretic 2. Search it up.

I get this vid 10 years ago in the PcZone magazine.I think also includes a deathmatch vid and some pics but the quality is very poor (too dark).If i found it i will upload as soon as i can :).
