I was in the Tattenham Marquee for this race, there were plenty of Larry Loudmouths walking around tipping Jan Vermeer to decimate the field...This one particular loud mouth stuck £5k ON THE NOSE! Unlucky son, what a race, what a day. Doing it all again this year !

@naashead, Paddy O' Prado won't be in the B.C. Turf this year. He just got retired a couple of weeks ago after he fractured a sesamoid bone when he won the G2 Dixie Stakes at Pimlico on his 2011 seasonal debut. I'm quite certain the race will be won by the Euro's again. Because America's turf horses aren't that strong. Might see Champs Pegasus again? Possibly Bourbon Bay? But their not good enough to beat the best Euro horses, IMO.

@GBeret83 Believe me it was the worst field for a BC Turf ever too. I was at the BC in 2005 at Belmont. Thought that was a pretty good field. I'm going again this year - hope Workforce makes it along with So you think. Wonder what you guys will have for the race? Paddy O'Prado went from Derby to grass last year - wonder is there a similar story this year? Cannot wait for Belmont on Saturday and Royal Ascot next week - Goldikova v Canford Cliffs. Reappearance of Frankel too

@naashead, Workforce would've decimated that field that ran in the 2010 B.C. Turf if he had ran in the race, IMO. Once Workforce was withdrawn, the French colt, Behkabad, was really the most talented horse left in the field. But for whatever reason, Behkabad just didn't run his race at CD that day? But the Sheema Classic has exposed the B.C.Turf for being one of the weakest renewals ever of that race. B.C.Turf winner, Dangerous Midge, last of 14 in Dubai. B.C.Turf 2nd, Champs Pegasus, 12th of 14

Sometime during the 2011 flat season, I hope we get a chance to see Workforce and Rewilding in the same field again over 12f. I'm not saying that I believe that Rewilding can or will beat Workforce over 12f. But I do believe that Rewilding is a much improved horse now from when he faced Workforce in the Epsom Derby. You can look at Rewilding's win's in the Great Voltigeur at York and the Sheema Classic in Dubai and tell he's really gotten much better for the experience, IMO.

i was at churchill when he was withdrawn. very disappointed as thought he was a certainty. great run here by workforce in record time. looking back at this field now - it has to be one of the worst in last 50 years

A Derby, an Arc, and now a Brigadier Gerard Stakes as a four year old. Can any one tell me apart from Mill Reef what other horse has achieved this after winning a Derby? He is truly a remarkable horse. The Idiots who say it was a poor Derby. Look, if you break the track record it does not matter who was in behind. High class horses or Donkeys even. He made his own form stand up by winning the Arc beating some of theee best in Europe or was that a poor Arc LMAO Workforce Rules!!!

@hescorescholes i personally think dettori is more talented because moore makes tupid mistakes like getting himself trapped in on the rail and not looking around at the other runners but when he gets older and learns these things he will be the best
