Taken from Top cat's forthcoming 'Champion Deejay' album, this album sampler includes two hot remixes of his classic 'Ruffest Gunark' track.
The A side features the massive Chase & Status remix that has been murdering dancefloors for the past few months on dub, while on the flip we have DJ Rap's original 1995 remix for those of you that still hunger for that original Jungle vibe.
DJ support has come from Andy C, Hype, Friction, Nicky Blackmarket, and many more.
Released on 14th December 2009 through Nu Urban Music.
@tobietera havent only just heard it. just was provoked into comenting today ,and i think there the worst thing for the dnb scene in years apart from 1 xtra turned it into a above ground pop culture with horrendous boring sounds. doesnt even make my toe tap .i wouldnt call this a remix but a rework everything that made the orig a tune is gone rolling bassline replaced with a generic sample from ableton yawn music for bandwagon jumpers imo

@DJDreadnought - I think it's a good remix. Im surprised you've only just heard it. This was done a couple of years ago anyway. It's just a solid Jungle remix, i think Chase & Status are two of the best producers to come out of the D&B scene. If you don't like it, at least the original is still fast enough to fit into today's sets.
