some animals are endangered, and can't survive in the wild, so it's necessary to keep them in "animal jail" until they fuck enough times to get bail.

good point made-and to the person above-conservation is not usually the purpose of Zoos-profit is. SOME animals are bred in captivity-but then usually sold out to other zoos for money-if you want conservation, support a sanctuary-where they live protected in their space-not ours.

Is it really right to be critical of zoos. You should be aware that many of the zoos in the west play a key role in preserving endangered animal populations. Considering that some animals in zoos were actually born in captivity, its not like you can put all of these animals back into the wild, considering that some are to man handled and for some, the original natural habitat no longer exists.

I already know this, Nightsinger. I was making an analogy about Prisons For Profit and america's love of captivity.
That's not to say all zoos are noble, or treat the animals well.

Well, since Giuliani is easily the most corrupt politician in US history, I promised I would do whatever I could to expose his insanity and criminal history.
This video is more about how america is the world capital of incarceration (ie, NOT freedom)and the growing trend of Prisons for Profit (meaning they HAVE to keep falsely arresting people to make money)(or continue the failed War on Drugs) and Rudy supports all of this more than anyone.
