Rod Matheson of the West Vancouver School District and Tony Macoun of Mulgrave School shared the International Education Distinguished Leadership Award. Rod was instrumental in the development of IPSEA and the formation of CAPSI, in addition to growing the West Vancouver International Program. Tony was a very early supporter of the International Baccalaureate program, served as Head of Pearson United World College, and championed the development of a trilingual IB program (English, French and Mandarin) at Mulgrave.

This Award recognizes the unique and important accomplishments and contributions of an international educator or member of the community who has effected change and leadership in the field of international education and whose work will have a lasting impact.
